Cruising on the Adriatic Pearl

We got on board the ship in Gruz Harbour at about 12noon on Saturday.

The cruise director

Antonia and her assistant is Alexander,

It not really a ship but more like a large cruiser. It has two deck with a total of 18 x 2 berth cabins and separate dining and lounge deck with a bar and the roof sun deck. We are on the main deck and Jess and Dylan are next door. It is very modern and so far quite smooth on the water. The food has been good and the side excursions have been interesting with entertaining guides at each port.

This photo was taken on day 2 in the habour of the city of Pucesca on the Island of Brac.

This island is famous for its stone masonry and everything is built with the limestone sourced from the local quarries.

It has been a bit hard to get internet access on the boat so here are a few photos.

Leaving dubrovnik. Ves as a bit anxious, about see sickness. She had her special wrist bands and a couple of Quells.

Jess and Dylan wondering if they would find any young people on the boat. They did. Its a nice mix of Aussies a few Americans, a couple from NZ and a couple from Scotland.

Docked in Korcula.

Korcula was a beautiful spot an we had a really nice guided tour.

Off for a swim in the town of Pusesca

Next we are off to Omish the pirate town then to Split.

The food has been great and the people we have met are really nice. Its a good mix. The side tours have also been really interesting and the scenery mind blowing and history of the towns and islands fascinating.
